Join the National Park Service and the Friends of Dyke Marsh from 1-3pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024, as we protect the parklands along the George Washington Memorial Parkway with a trash pickup at the Dyke Marsh Wildlife Preserve and Belle Haven Park. Instructions, gloves, trash bags, and trash pickers will be provided. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, and bring personal PPE (masks, sunscreen, bug spray.) Bring plenty of water as there is no place to refill. Restrooms are located in Belle Haven Park and at the Yacht Marina near Dyke Marsh.

Participants will be notified ahead of time if cancellation is needed due to inclement weather.
