Who says learning can’t be fun? Join the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin on the water on Saturday, August 15 for a look at a historical and ecological treasure. Together, we will take a “deep dive” at one of the Potomac’s most fascinating sites – Mallows Bay, known for the “Ghost Fleet” of wooden WWII-era ships that are now returning to nature. We will also discover the Maryland Department of Natural Resources’ water quality monitoring data and trends at Mallows Bay.
